What You Bring

Master's degree in finance, accounting or business; CPA / ACCA / CA qualified

Primary Purpose of Role:
The Head of Technology is responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy to enable scalable growth across multiple countries. This includes supply chain operations. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Technology aligns technology investment with business priorities, fosters
innovation, and builds the foundational capabilities required to support rapid international expansion. The role oversees the development, implementation, and management of programs that cultivate a strong security culture across our client’s Group companies, ensuring that technology operations remain reliable, resilient, and secure with effective incident and change management processes in place. It also provides leadership over cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance practices aligned with global standards, while implementing scalable support models and vendor partnerships across multiple geographies. 2. The Context
As part of its global modernization agenda, the organization is establishing a newly created Chief Information Officer (CIO) role in India to anchor technology governance, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity leadership across its expanding footprint in APAC and EMEA.
This role will lead the IT Strategy & Management function based in Mumbai, with strategic oversight of the Global Capability Centers (GCC) in Hyderabad and Mumbai. It represents a shift from a legacy Center of Excellence (CoE) model to a globally integrated, decentralized digital delivery ecosystem.
The CIO will play a pivotal role in shaping how technology enables business transformation, while collaborating closely with peers in global innovation hubs in Japan, Singapore, Germany, China, and the United States.
